Willow J Conway
Founder/Yoga Instructor/Movement Teacher
(Hatha Flow, Slow Flow, Dynamic Hatha,
Restorative Yin Yoga,
Movement for Performers)
Hi! I am the founder of Ok-Topia and began this as a vision to create a community space encompassing my passions of acting and dance, creative arts, and yoga. I am an award winning performer, a 350 hr qualified yoga instructor and have been teaching classes in yoga, acting, movement, performance and dance for over 13 years.
My aim is to allow and provide space for students of all levels to practice and experience the many benefits that yoga has to offer, for students to let go, go within and explore. My personal practice in yoga began in 1990 when I was drawn deeply into the traditions of both Iyengar and Ashtanga. Yoga has profoundly enhanced my life and acting practice, enabling me to become more present and step into 'being' as opposed to 'doing,' and has taught me to be present in process. I teach from traditional roots of yoga incorporating breath (pranayama), poses (asana - both moving and static poses) and meditation to help participants experience a state of connectedness and relaxation through integration of the mind, body and spirit.
Studio Manager/Yoga Teacher in Training
Hi There! Welcome to Ok-Topia. I am a dedicated yoga practitioner, born into a family where yoga was part of daily life. I am currently doing my yoga teacher training and can't wait to start offering classes soon. As the studio manager I make sure everything is running smoothly and the environment is welcoming for all.
Hello, I'm Ben and look forward to sharing teachings at Ok-Topia. I first came to Yoga because my hamstrings were tight and I thought it made sense to stretch them at a Yin class! Since that day, my life has changed significantly. What caught my attention initially was the way Yoga could calm my energy.
I've primarily studied in India and enjoy sharing mudra, mantra, pranayama and kriya. I enjoy sharing teachings of Yoga as it is very humbling.
